you've taken me from miry clay.
you set my feet upon the rockm and now i know.

i will worship you until the very end...
We never stop to realise just much we mean to God. Waking up alive, being able to talk, smell, smile, hear, touch, see, walk and do everything else that we were able to do before we went to sleep..it's good to stop and think about how blessed we are...some people are not as blessed as we are.

The shocking stories about the Congolese refugees in Sudan
Submitted by Jason on Fri, 02/13/2009 - 12:34It is difficult to imagine the devastating situation of the Congolese Refugees under the cruel hands of the Uganda Lord Resistance Army (LRA). These Congolese people have been subjected to all kinds of atrocities that have resulted in the brutal killings, abduction of their children, torture and rape. Because of these, some of them managed to escape for their dear life to neighboring Southern Sudan in Western Equatorial.
The existence of God is a myth to the Scientist world
Submitted by Jason on Thu, 11/20/2008 - 11:43Agnostic Stephen Hawking said "it would be very difficult to explain why the universe should have begun in just this way, except as the act of a God who intended to create beings like us". Hawking has spent his life trying to disprove the necessity for a Creator God. His contemporaries all agree he will certainly fail.

An assignment i did on John Hicks false beliefs concerning the Incarnation
Submitted by gmaggs214 on Tue, 11/18/2008 - 20:02When we Speak of Jesus being incarnate, we are talking about the 'act whereby the eternal son of God, the second person of the Holy Trinity, without ceasing to be what he is, God the son, took into union with himself what he before the act did not posses, a human nature' (Reymond 1984: 555)
From the early years of the church, this concept has been discussed as people have tried to figure out a part of theology that is ultimately impossible to completely comprehend.
Stay healthy in a stressful time
Submitted by Cathy on Thu, 11/06/2008 - 10:40Hi guys!
With exams coming up, as well as moving and changing enviroments, I thought it worthwhile to make available some helpful articles on stress. There are three of them and I have added them as attachments on this blog for download. It indicates where stress comes from and what its influences are in life, especially on health.
Don't forget to spend time with God, meditate on His word and remember to take care of His temple with enough sleep, exercise and healthy eating.
Yours in Christ
Cathy

A true accounts of God's healing power
Submitted by Jason on Wed, 10/15/2008 - 16:19There have been mixed views on God's healing claims among the evangelical circles on whether Prayers and healing powers are 'geniun' today not since we have the Bible. I have attached some accounts of what we believe God was at work among the Azande people in the Southern Sudan.
You can read and it and ask questions if you have them.
Dewald's Astronomy Blog - A Look at the Heart of the Milky Way
Submitted by Dewald on Wed, 10/08/2008 - 19:05
Job 22:12 "Is not God high in the heavens? See the highest stars, how lofty they are!
The image on your right hand displays an area of our galactic centre 26,000 lightyears away from earth and a few hundred lightyears across. If you click on the image to enlarge it you will notice a very bright, white patch to the bottom of the picture - this white patch is, in fact, the very core, the very heartbeat of our galaxy, the Milky Way, and is named Sagittarius A.
